Hello!
I have a few things as an extension developers that I think would be useful feature’s/user stories I thought I’d share.
-
As an extension developer, it’d be nice to have a type to upload file’s through the extension UI to “do something” to with the extension.
a. IE: If I have a tool that isn’t connected to LC that finds a file that might be malicious, I might want to upload it to LC so a certain TLSH scanner could calculate it’s hash/do a distance comparison to see if it is malicious. -
As an extension developer it’d be nice to have a UI to see how many organization’s are actively subscribed without needing to track it myself and provide info based on how it’s billed
a. IE: I have 30 organizations subscribed on a per month basis, or perhaps I have Org_A with 10 endpoints, Org_B with 20 Endpoints, or you have X subscribers and they have called the per use extension Y times -
The ability to return some sort of markdown or custom dashboards/visualizations.
-
The ability to run promotion codes
-
As an extension developer, it’d be nice to develop extension’s that work at the primary (organization?) level IE: provide a way for groups like MSSP’s who have many organization’s to have an extension that subscribes and works across their entire fleet
Example: As an MSSP owner, If I want to build an anomaly detection system, as an MSSP I may want an option to use the data across all of my organizations to both improve the detection system and to manage it.
As an extension developer, it’d be nice to have a “singular” high level primary organization where data could be stored, to keep extension development simple/stateless
- The ability to provide updates / notifications for subscribers (and a config API to provide an opt out style option)
